Hello,

My name is Marcus Monserrate. I'm 56 years old and I been struck with "the audacity of hope" of fulfilling my life long dream of becoming a guitarist. In the past as a younger man I tried to learn but, never got past trying. I named her Michelle. I've had this beauty for just about three months now and it looked to me like I was headed in the same direction as before. Then, I came across the book Guitar Zero and I renewed my hope. On Mr. Marcus' website I got wind of Jamie's The Principles of Correct Practice for Guitar book. After looking around the Guitar Principles' website I decided I had found something that would give me the direction I needed to have a better outcome.

I recently received The Guitar Principles Beginner's Package I had ordered for myself. And now, having read just the first few pages I can see that yes, the shortest distance between two point is a straight line and Jamie with her general guidelines has made that straight line clear for me to see. Already, I'm beginning to feel The Guitar Principles forceful resonance as I start to understand the harmony and stillness of Total Body Awareness. It now looks to me like my investment in Michelle and all the really good books that I managed to get these pass few months will not go to wast after all. So hello to everyone and thank you for being here. And Jamie, thank you most of all, for all your hard work, insights and dedication. You have given the world a really wonderful gift.
