ring finger issues

Hello

I'm new to this site, my name is Emma. I got the principles of correct practice dvd and have been working through it over the last few weeks (however i'm still stuck on right hand finger picking technique and haven't moved on just yet.) My ring finger on my right hand shakes just as i am applying pressure to the string...Has anyone else experienced this or am I going mad?

I would greatly appreciate any feedback
