Speakers for a Clean Power Amp

Hi Folks,

I'm planning on updating my rig. I've decided to go for the "David Gilmour" approach of getting all distortion from pedals (and maybe even a complete amp running into a load box) and getting "volume" from a clean power amp.

I plan to use a solid-state amp but I'm not sure about what speakers to use. Seems like there's tons of info about speakers for overdriven amps (Celestions, etc.) but not much about speakers for clean amps.

What do people recommend?

Try Jensen Alnicos for clean but warm and full sounding

I use these on my customised Roland JC-90. They might have it in 12" as well
