Prelude 16

Hi Jamie,

Here is a version of Prelude 16.
http://www.vimeo.com/1073540

The Prociples DVD arrived a few days ago, and I have identified lots of issues. I wasn't using the foundation exercises properly at all. One thing that I had not understood was which exercises need to be worked up for speed. I guess it is assumed in the book, but I didn't get it.

ANyway I have had to go right back to first principles and work on things like pushing down and releasing the strings etc.

I guess it is too early to see any real benfit in the video, especially as I did it quite fast (for me) , so it is pretty much on auto. I did notice that I sometimes didn't get my fingers near enough the frets which led to the odd fluffed note.

That seems fine to me Simon, no problems. I sure would like to see you do some variations of tone and volume. I would say it is time to bring some musical "juice" into it!

Best,
Jamie
