To whom it may concern on the GP site:

The PDF button on the subject lessons 1 and 8 does not work. It does for all the others. I am trying to print out the PDF files, but they won't load. Can you check it out and fix it?

I just saw another post/thread on Fretboard/Fingerboard Harmony lessons. I should have posted there and not started another thread. Sorry. Someone else, "bluesbox", also reported this same trouble in that thread.

The pdf doesn't work for me either but the "print" icon does, so you should be able to print lessons 1 & 8. Give that a try and I'm sure someone from guitar principles will get around to addressing the pdf problem eventually.

I had done what you suggest for printing. I misspoke when I said I was trying to print the PDF file. I was actually trying to save the PDF files to my computer for future reference.

I am happy to announce that Webmaster Jamie has researched the problem and solved it! I hope!

I had to do some slow tempo googling to find out what was wrong, but as usual, we were not the only folks who ever had this problem, and someone posted some code that seems to have worked.

It should both save and print. Let me know how it works for you now.

I can report that now the problem with opening lessons 1 and 8 PDF files is now solved. The only issue now, and it is a minor one, is that the lesson 3 file is labeled "97-lesson-2-diminished-triads.pdf" when it should be lesson-3. You might want to fix that too.

Thanks for the report. Lesson 3 looks fine to me in the pdf...maybe some other folks can report.

What I meant was that when you go to save the PDF file after opening it, the default file name is "97-lesson-2-diminished-triads.pdf" when it should be "97-lesson-3-diminished-triads.pdf". Of course, this can easily be changed to anything you want either at the time you save it or anytime thereafter. That's what I meant by it being a minor problem. Sorry for any confusion.
