Dave, the sound is very good and the playing is smooth. But the "look" concerns me. There are form problems.

The right wrist is too flat. I sense tension in the arm. The first bone of the fingers, from the knuckle to the middle joint, is flat to the plane of the strings, and so the stroke is not made from the big knuckle, but rather from the middle knuckle of the finger.

You need to raise that wrist a bit. You also need to realize and feel a level of tension you are not aware of. I would think about a webcam with me if you feel you are not able to improve this. It is the kind of thing that will keep you at a level that is below your true potential.
Best,
Jamie

Thank you Jamie,
I've gone back to both your video playing this Prelude and your DVD of the Principles concerning right hand position on the free stroke and I see what you mean. I'll post again when I think there's some improvement. Thank you for your time.

regards,
Dave

Hi Dave
I am not sure if this is the right time to raise this as Jamie has identified a technical issue to sort out, but this piece has the melody in the base line which needs to be brought out.

It might be useful to do some practice just playing the base line to really get the feel of the melody.
