Can an Old Dog learn a new Trick?

Postby j27sailor » Mon Jun 21, 2010 4:01 pm

Hello to all!
I am 56 years old and live in Dahlonega, GA. (its a lot like Mayberry) Folks just playing music on the square every Saturday. Hope I can join them one day!

I have tried to play the guitar for the last 40 years, with no success. Then I found GP and have ordered the Principles of Practice course, now I have hope that an old dog can learn a new trick. When Jamie made the video why you suck at guitar, she was talking to me! LOL

I am looking forward to the challenge.

Hey Old Dog,

First of all, you are only one year older than me, and I feel like a teenager! I recommend that feeling to everyone!

Look around the forum, it will be obvious that, if you do your part, success is guaranteed! As far as "old dogs" learning new tricks, well, that all depends (aside from a willing dog) on the trainer. And I never fail, I am the Cesar Milan of guitar teachers! :D :D
Best,
Jamie
