Put Your Picture In Profile For Home Page!

Hey Peoples,

As you can see on our new home page

http://www.guitarprinciples.com

all your posts now show up there. And if you had a picture in your profile it would show up too...........which would look nice rather than that ghostly nondescript mug shot looking thing that takes its place!

Just a thought.................... :D
Best,
Jamie

I seem to not have a picture small enough. It says 6.00 kib - any idea how to shrink a picture?

Hi Alexander

Try Paint, That how i did it, use the resize & Skew option. Only one problem forgot what
size you have to shrink to make 6 Kib in size.
Have a good day

Everything I try is rejected including trying to use the URL from Photo Bucket. I probably need to read the Principles for Correct Computer Geeking

Thanks anyway

I'm a little too shy to post my photo. Also I'm not very photogenic.

I might use an event that occurred yesterday as an illustration. I live in Ireland and here we tend to pack our own groceries in the supermarket. Ocasionally a charity will get permission, by a particular store to offer a grocery packing service. Yesterday I volunteered to spend a few hours packing for a worthwhile charity. Unfortunately the other volunteer at the other checkout was rather handsome so his queue was busy all day with all the cute girls. I could spot them in the background nudging their boyfriends into his queue. Luckily I don't treat myself too seriously

Anyway, how about if I use an avatar nstead of a photo i.e. a picture that says something about me but isn't actually me?

Hey Barry, I feel your pain!

Sure, use an avatar. In these modern times, there is no sense in staying stuck with having to present ourselves as we actually are! How boring!
