The Principles Progress Chart
"To know and not to do is not yet to know"
If you are working with "The Principles of Correct Practice For Guitar", you are using the most powerful training system in existence for achieving excellent guitar technique. I want to make sure you to get everything you are supposed to get from The Principles.
If you can DO the Foundation Exercises contained in "The Principles", then you know The Principles. If you cannot do them, you don't know them, and you don't have the foundation for all other growth on the guitar that you should have.
Building the exercises up to a professional speed is a long term project that must be worked on consistently and correctly over a period of time. Part of an effective practice approach is measuring our progress as we go along (read "Measuring Your Progress On Guitar").
"The Principles Progress Chart" will help you do that by giving you a convenient way to knowing your top speeds on all exercises. It also contains links to the exercises being done properly at all speeds, slow to fast. Print this chart out and use it to track your progress each day. You should practice each exercise up to your top speed every day.
